INTEGRATION AND INNOVATION

Once again, we will be running the conference over two interactive evening sessions to ensure that more pharmacy owners, pharmacists, and related stakeholders can join us. Why Integration and Innovation? Community Pharmacy will require both as competition and the expectations of commissioners and consumers of our services rapidly evolve.

The NHS is clear, the future is about local integration of health and social care and pharmacy needs to be fully embedded as part of that integrated system. This requires local leadership, a clear understanding of local needs and priorities, and a service-led offer that addresses those needs. During our session on the  Tuesday 21st September, we will hear from the NHS and pharmacists who are leading the way on a that path.

This integration will also require innovation. Whilst Community Pharmacy has responded magnificently to the COVID pandemic, this has often meant a necessary reversion to a focus on the safe supply of medicines. As healthcare opens again along with the rest of society, we must have our eyes firmly fixed on a plan for the future which embraces technology, engagement and collaboration, and the delivery of new NHS and private services. In our session on Thursday 23rd September, we will hear from innovative pharmacists who will share why and how they have done just that.

    Pharmacy Business Awards return for 2022!

    The biggest awards event in the pharmacy calendar returns in person with a glittering ceremony to celebrate the very best of community pharmacy.

    The 21st edition of the Pharmacy Business Awards will be back on Thursday 3 February 2022 in central London.

    The annual Pharmacy Business Awards attract the biggest names in pharmacy, with heads of pharmacy organisations, CEOs of leading manufacturers and wholesalers, health officials and government ministers in attendance.
