Anne works within the Primary Care Group at NHS England and Improvement responsible for leading the Pharmacy Integration Fund transformation programme established in 2016 to support the introduction of new integrated clinical services for community pharmacy and the development of the clinical pharmacy workforce across primary care. Prior to this she was the Chief Pharmacist at NHS Direct for 13 years, before moving to NHS England in 2013 as the NHS 111 Pharmacy lead supporting the integrated urgent care policy programme.

Anne’s early career in hospital pharmacy encompassed a range of clinical services specialising in HIV and AIDS before taking up the position of Director of the South East Thames Regional Health Authority Medicines Information Service at Guys Hospital. She holds a Masters in Health Policy from Imperial College London and spent two and a half years in South Africa working for the Health Services Development Unit, University of Witwatersrand, Johannesburg. Anne became a Fellow of the Royal Pharmaceutical Society in 2018.
